Born in Tanzania he moved to Swansea in 1976 to complete his education. Following his marriage to Gaynor in 1981 he settled permanently in the area. He has two sons at University.
For twenty years he has been in practice as an accountant and business advisor.
Following the establishment of DRP & co in 2004, he was made an affiliate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Mahmood specialises in corporate finance and strategic financial and tax planning.
The Asian business community has matured in business terms and the practice now delivers increasingly sophisticated services to this growing market.
Within the last twelve months projects have included several retail business acquisitions a £1500, 000 manufacturing management buy out and the sale and purchase of hotels ranging from £2000. 000 to £30, 000, 000 value.
Mahmood is a keen rugby supporter and is treasurer of the Bonymaen Rugby Club.
